Church of the Resurrection Snow Policy

MASS

Generally speaking, Mass is not cancelled due to weather. Please use your own judgement and err on the side of caution, as to whether you can safely attend Mass at St. Paul or Church of the Resurrection.

 

• Daily Mass follows HCPSS and/or RSPS snow policies.

  • If there is a Two-hour Delay or School Closing, the 8:00am Mass at St. Paul will move to the 9:00am Mass at Church of the Resurrection

  • For Saturdays, or days when school is not in session, if it is snowing steadily by 7am, Mass will be in the Chapel at Resurrection and not St. Paul. 

• Weekend Mass

  • If weekend Masses are impacted by inclement weather a notice will be sent out and posted to the website. 

• Follow WBAL TV and radio for weather updates beginning at 5:30am. 

 

MINISTRY EVENTS

The Church of the Resurrection Ministries do not follow Howard County Public School system openings/closings. However, when a Snow Emergency Plan for the Howard County Government is in effect, all church buildings will be closed and Ministry activities will be cancelled.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If there is inclement weather but it is not a snow emergency, the running of or cancellation of activities will be at the discretion of the group leader. However, we cannot guarantee that the sidewalks and parking lots will be salted or shoveled.
